Macon Kennel Club(MKC) is a dog club founded in 1939
and located in the HEART of GEORGIA.
WE ARE NOT A KENNEL!
We are a group of people who come together with a
common interest to improve pure breeds and manage
purebred and mix breeds alike!
We offer training in Obedience, Conformation, Rally and
Agility, as well as Canine Good Citizen evaluations to
members AND TO THE PUBLIC!
We help serve our elderly community with PET MEALS ON
WHEELS, a companion service with Meals on Wheels of
Macon Georgia and the surrounding areas. WE are also
involved in therapy visits to Nursing Homes, Schools and
Hospitals.
We hold an annual, 2 day, American Kennel Club(AKC)
licenced dog show in May. It is called the "Georgia
Crossroad Cluster" and is held at the Agriculture Buildings
in Perry, GA.
We have monthly meetings at the Porter-Ellis Community
Center in Macon, GA, and offer educational programs each
month during those meetings.
ALL DOG LOVERS are welcome to join us in having FUN,
refreshments and learn more than just being your DOGS
